Terrible... Terrible... App

What a waste of time and money! It is impossible to read articles because of all the ads. Save your money and do not buy this app or any articles.

Not really free

Not really a free app, dont bother downloading unless you want to buy a subscription.

Shouldnt be an app

Not a single free story or item. This is downloaded directly to my news stand as an option to purchase a single magazine or a yearly subscription to the digital magazine. Not really an app.

Not a free app at all

You download this app thinking they would give you at least a taste of what it can offer but nope. Nothing zero. Either buy the issue for 6.99 or subscribe. How about delete?

Not free

Are you serious? How are they allowed to list this as a free app? You download it and open the app - all it does it take you to a screen saying you can pay $7 now. Ridiculous.

I lost 20 pounds

I lost 20 pounds using the Eat This, Not That series, and I was so excited to hear there’s a magazine that could help me keep it off. The first issue is stuffed with recipes that you wouldn’t think were healthy—oven fried chicken, Moroccan salmon, sausage lasagna, strawberry shortcake—but are, and the photography’s really elegant. What I like about Dave Zinczenko’s writing is that he doesn’t want you to give food up—he just wants to help you use the right foods to make amazing dishes, so you can diet guilt-free. So it’s just like the books, except cheaper and right on my phone, so I was sold, great value for the amount of advice.

Not free

Not happy that you have to pay for this app

Not worth the download. Also not free

Deceptive and shameful on both apple and rodales part. Bad business practice in unethical advertisement of an app!

Its a magazine, not a free app folks

Great content in a format thats familiar with the Eat This, Not That series. For those folks giving it one star because its not "free" - get over yourselves. Its a newsstand app for a magazine, not sure where the confusion is. The button you pushed to download said "Get", not "Free". Take some time and familiarize yourself with how the App Store works and lose the whiney sense of entitlement.

Misleading :/

Dont bother unless you want to buy the magazine subscription. Nothing there.

Nothing is free...

Just as the others have said, you download it thinking you would get something free just as it suggested, but you dont. You get a free trip to the button that takes your money to pay for this not free "app" (hint: free=$6.99)

Not an app, should be free.

This should absolutely NOT be in the Best New Apps section of the App Store. This is not an app, its a magazine. Not even within the magazine do they give you ANYTHING free at all. It opens up, asks you if you want to subscribe for 7$, and thats it. You cant view ANYTHING at all in the magazine. Worst rip off ever.

Worth Its Weight In Gold

Simply stunning. Ive been an avid reader of Eat This, Not That for years and the magazine has been a welcomed delight. Not only visually captivating the health and food info is incredible. I was shocked to see the foods you shouldnt eat (wont lie, Im guilty). Also the recipes make a great touch. Overall, its worth the subscription whether looking to lose the weight or just eat better.

Love this!

I was so excited to see that Eat This, Not That came out with a magazine! I have been reading the books for years and this issue didnt disappoint. Its packed with great tips and recipes and beautiful photography. I cannot wait to start cooking the recipes and Im already excited for the next issue to come out! If you like the books, or youre a fan of the author, David Zinczenko, you should defiantly subscribe. You wont be disappointed.

Beautiful but not interactive

From a design perspective this is a excellent example of alternative stories style (nontraditional story) works perfectly well for print but not for an immersive iPad app fails to take a vantage of all the interactivity that Apple iPads or known for, why waste my time buying it on iPad.

Not free

Nothing free about this

Difrices

I think this is a really good Idea but if your over wight it might make you sad

Great Magazine

I use this magazine as a guideline to losing weight. Its great, and its very informational. It helped me trim and maintain my body fat. Anyone looking to lose weight, improve nutrition, or maintain weight by trying out many different food options, you should get this magazine. Btw, to those who complain that its not an app or it should be free, why dont you go to your local bookstore and take this magazine out of the shelves and walk out the store without paying? Its a freaking magazine. Get over it.

Wheres the icon

Its in my apps but not on my screen

Dont Bother

This APP says its free. After you download it It is JUST an advertisement. No magazine preview or anything.
